Risers support the ends of twist-tighten shower rods, keeping the curtain from sagging too low. My twist-to-tighten shower rod stays up by compression and friction, but it recently fell down, tearing a chunk out of the wall surface in the process. I'm determined to fix this issue once and for all - no more bobbing shower curtain at my feet! Luckily, my tub has tall sides that jut out from the wall, providing me with the perfect shelf to support my plan.
