I'm installing a twist-to-expand shower curtain rod bumper on both opposing walls with an anchor and screw to prevent the rubber ends from tearing the paint. The bumpers are 1/4 inch thick and 2 inches in diameter, making them compatible with rods up to 1+3/4 inches in diameter due to their outer 1/8 inch radius. A 5/32 inch center screw hole is provided for easy installation, along with a 3/8 inch screw head diameter. The FreeCAD source code is included for further modification and customization.
