Shower panel repair : 4 way selector

If you're one of the unlucky owners of a Smart Panel shower wall from Smart Showers or another company re-selling China's subpar designs, you might encounter a problem where the flow destination feature selector switch becomes stuck. These showers come in various styles but share the same valves, often featuring a waterfall, hand shower, and jets. A distinctive sign of this type of shower is the water temperature/flow selector located at the bottom with a feature selector above it. The issue lies in the fact that whoever manufactures them in China uses extremely low-quality plastic, destined to fail within a few years - mine malfunctioned after about 3 years. I've disassembled two different versions of this shower (one for me and one for my parents) and had to redesign the failed part with a 4-way selector. A smaller version for a 3-way selector is also available; just search for it.
