Shower holder
thingiverse
I designed this shower holder to replace a commercial version that failed after just a couple of months. **Design Requirements:** - Use an existing rod with a 26 mm diameter, although this design can also be adapted for lower diameters. - The holder must move easily up and down on the rod. - Adjusting the shower head's inclination must be possible using only one hand. - All adjustments should be performed using one hand only. **Required Non-Printable Parts:** - 2x screws, M3x20 or M3x22 (cheese head) - 2x nuts (M3) - 2x springs, 10.5x43.5x1.3 (spring length must be adjusted) **Assembly:** The shower holder consists of 15 parts. Watch the assembly sequence in this video: https://youtu.be/8tEEcKI3wUw **Notes:** This design is still a work in progress. Once printed, assembled and installed it works well, but durability testing is ongoing. I used PLA for printing, but PETG might be a better choice.
