Shower Head with Interchangeable Diffuser
cults3d
All shower heads essentially terminate in the same manner: mineral buildup seals off the nozzles, rendering them useless. This discovery sparked a concept to create a head with an interchangeable diffuser that would be effortlessly and swiftly printed (1 hour 30 minutes). The printing of the head is the most time-consuming and labor-intensive part (10 hours), but it only needs to be done once. Afterward, replacing the diffuser will be straightforward. Upon fully tightening the diffuser within the head, I did not notice any leakage along the periphery. If you do experience leaks, it's likely due to an imperfectly flat bottom on the pommel of the head. To address this issue, simply wrap Teflon tape around the thread of the diffuser. Initially, screwing the diffuser into the pommel can be challenging due to its large diameter and fine pitch. I recommend lightly lubricating the thread of the diffuser before firmly securing it. After completing this operation, future screwing and unscrewing should be effortless. Version history: 02/02/2019 - Initial release
