Shower head holder - no drilling in tiles
thingiverse
I desperately needed a shower head hanger that wouldn't ruin my bathroom tiles. I salvaged a part from an old aquarium filter with four suction cups at its back. Measuring it carefully, I designed the holder in Solidworks. The printed parts fit together easily. Now, I'm just waiting to see how long those suction cups will hold up. Testing continues... I used my Mendel90 DIY (Nevex) printer to print out the parts. Here are the settings: Rafts and supports don't matter. Resolution is 0.25 mm, and infill is 10-15%. Assembly is a breeze. You'll need these parts: the holding bracket with suction cups, the frame, the swivel, two knobs, and two hex M6 bolts and nuts. Here's how to put it together: 1. Attach the frame to the bracket. 2. Position the swivel inside the frame and insert the M6 bolts. 3. Insert the M6 nuts into the knobs and heat them up for easier installation. 4. Tighten the knobs, and your assembly is complete. 5. Install your new shower head hanger anywhere you want.
