The shower enclosure typically includes a frame that spans from one end of the tub to the other, resting against both walls of the bathtub and extending beyond them on either side. This assembly is often referred to as the "headers" or "ends," but it can also be called the "top" and "bottom" track. The headers are usually made of aluminum or plastic and provide a smooth surface for the glass panels to slide along. They typically consist of two parts: one that attaches to the wall above the tub, known as the top header, and another that attaches below the tub floor level, called the bottom header.
