A shower tray.
Designed in Fusion 360 for multi material printing.

Print instructions

I needed something to test my MMU2S unit and I could not find anything useful to me. So I came up with this.
Almost 30h print time and 532 tool changes and ~270g Filament!!

This part is to be mounted on the wall and can be glued to the glas.

There are gaps on the wall and glas side to make sure any trapped water can escape ... I guess

There is also a 2 degree slope on the underside.
This should cause the water to drop down the "drops" :-) ... I hope

The G-code file is only included so the forum software can get the print time etc...
You have to adjust the 3mf file to your color needs anyway.

At the end I used the standard settings of the "BRILLIANT" Prusa Slicer for the MK2S with MMU2S except for the frame where i used modifiers to print 4 outer layers.
( these modifiers are awesome!!)

The 1st print went almost without problems but I used some "silk" PLA and damaged the print when removing the part from the sheet!

As usual the 1st print always has something that is not right!
I also didn't like the hexagons so much and I took the opportunity and changed the design.

The 2nd print was destroyed by a power cut!!
Unfortunately using the beautiful "Octoprint" as sender G-Code sender turns out to make the "power out" detection useless .. and almost 24h where wasted.

It also resets the printer on re-connect.. so be careful, even printing from the SD card does not help at all if you leave Octoprint connected!!

I found some info how to prevent this here:
https://forum.prusaprinters.org/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-user-mods-octoprint-enclosures-nozzles-.../octoprint-reseting-printer-power-panics/

As this print uses almost the full built area, there where of course 1st layer problems ...ahhheemmm

The 3rd attempt printed from the SD-card and finished without a glitch ;-)

I am quite happy about the part and the option to wipe into the infill gave the part some unexpected nice touch :-)

I also used the following modifications of the MMU2S:

MMU2S R2 Selector FINDA remix with magnet
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25169

Prusa MMU2 Reinforced Idler
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/3792

MMU2 Tension Screw Keeper
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/4591

I also used the brilliant "Gravity spoolholder for MMU2S"
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/10370-gravity-spoolholder-for-mmu2s

For me the original buffer was a nightmare!!
Unlike others I struggle with very LOW humidity levels ( 5-30%)
The filament dries and than it breaks somewhere between the roll and MMU2S if not used within 24h or so.
Meaning I had to reload manually through the buffer all the time!!
....and that was a pain in the ...

So credits go to those guys who made a good printer even better ... thanks to all the clever guys out there

Fusion 360 files - (NON parametric) included.
Have fun ;-)
