Shower Caddy Suction Cup Clip

Shower Caddy Suction Cup Clip

Our Ventana Motor Coach features a corner shower, but it needed more space for essentials like shampoo. To address this, we installed a typical Shower Caddy found in stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. However, we encountered an issue with the suction cups that came with it - they were positioned at the edge of the molding on our shower stall, resulting in no suction. This design aims to relocate the suction cups to a secure location where they can adhere to the shower stall molding and provide stability for the shower caddy. The outcome is excellent; the shower caddy is now very stable. The little wire rectangles just above the new clips mark the original position of the suction cups, which unfortunately overlapped the edge of the molding, preventing a proper seal. To create this design, we used Simplify3D to slice and replicate it once, then mirrored it on the x-axis to produce left and right versions.
