Shower Caddy - Light Weight
thingiverse
I required a shelf in the shower to store small items safely out of reach of my kids' curious hands. This caddy is engineered to suspend over a shower wall, not a rod, and its hooks are specifically designed to latch onto a 1-inch wide rail, securing them firmly in place with a 25mm gap between each hook. The length of the hooks measures 230 mm, making it suitable for holding lightweight items only. The clamps play a crucial role in preventing the tray from sliding out during use, but they will not completely prevent the tray from separating if excessive force is applied. I successfully completed my first meaningful project using Fusion 360 within a single day, which was incredibly fulfilling. A friend advised adding additional supports to the hooks to distribute the weight's force more evenly, and I made the necessary adjustments, though I haven't printed it yet. It appears that the new hooks will still fit on my print bed simultaneously after the edit. Screenshots of the design are posted above for reference.
