Shower Bracket Replacement
thingiverse
I'm replacing my shower head bracket with a new design that will fit over the existing one instead of buying a whole new shower head or bracket. I'm not entirely sure if this will work for other showers, but it should if they have the same type of bracket. My design uses 22mm M3 screws and M3 nuts, which might come in handy. As for now, my design is still in progress because the M3 nut holes are a bit too small. Check out the time-lapse video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FEcv5PKnLY&feature=youtu.be The last picture in the set shows what my original bracket looked like when it broke. You can see that my initial solution didn't work, as the 3M tape wasn't enough to hold the shower head. Update: I've updated my design instructions to fit over the existing piece you need to shave down using a file for this one to work smoothly. There are no support needed while printing. Printed with a highly modified Printrbot simple printer on .25 layer height and 25% infill, taking around 2.5 hours to complete.
