This is a Shoulder Support I Designed and Made for My Brother-in-Law. Here's the Write-up for Autodesk Internal Information Website: After undergoing a shoulder operation, Lloyd was forced to immobilize his shoulder muscles and biceps for 6 weeks. As a result, the weight of his arm rested on his neck or opposite shoulder, causing strain and discomfort. Thankfully, Lloyd had Robert Larson, his brother-in-law from Melbourne's Kilsyth office in Australia, who's an avid maker and 3D printing enthusiast. Robert seized the opportunity to assist Lloyd in relieving his pain by designing a custom-made shoulder pad that distributes the weight evenly over the point of the shoulder. Using a piece of wire bent around Lloyd's shoulder as a reference point, Robert took precise measurements before creating the design. Once printed, he fitted the shoulder pad onto Lloyd's shoulder, providing instant relief and easing his discomfort. Instructions: If you need one for your right shoulder, try creating a "mirror image" yourself. If that proves challenging, simply let me know and I'll be happy to help!
