In this project, I unfortunately failed to use common sense and persisted with an unsuccessful design. Although some flaws were rectified, the sizable shaded area above the rotor disk convinced me that vertical takeoff and landing was impossible with this configuration. Simplifying the rear section followed advice from a renowned designer, whose photo I placed on the camera's fishbowl lens. Enjoy!
