Create your own InMoov robot using a 3D printer and building skills! This project is perfect if you're new to Arduino or servo motors - I started with no knowledge of either and was successful. Begin by printing the hand, then continue with the rest at your own pace. Find the InMoov design on thingiverse.com/thing:17773. The journey to create this robot's shoulder has been long and involved numerous print iterations. Visit inmoov.blogspot.com for more information and assembly instructions. Some of the videos linked aren't entirely accurate, as I made modifications during the process. This is a work-in-progress project, so files may still change. Follow step-by-step assembly instructions on InMoov.blogspot.com. You will need to print parts of the torso for completion (not included in this file). All parts are designed to fit on a 12x12cm print bed, like the hand. Printed in ABS with 0.5mm thickness and 30% infill for most parts, except for specific pieces which were printed at 0.4mm with 100% infill. "PivwormV1" and "ServoHolsterV2" were printed with support, while prebuilt support must be removed under "PistonBaseV4." Most parts are identical for left and right shoulders. Print one of each part, two "PivconnectorV1" per shoulder, and require 2 Hitec HS-805BB servos along with some cables to extract potentiometers from the servos. Regular updates have been made to improve parts' design and functionality.
