Shoulder Button

Shoulder Button

The outdated alignment shaft hole has been rendered useless by my implementation of tighter tolerances between the button and casing. Are you fed up with buttons that sloppily rattle around with loose, uncontrolled movement? Even the revered PlayStation falls victim to this pitfall! The GBA and other portable systems seem to utilize a hinge design similar to mine, suggesting that I am on the path to genuine innovation... I aim to enhance the PlayStation shoulder button mechanism because I despise reassembling those components. Upon completion, this project will incorporate a PiGRRL Button Pad, oriented sideways with the spacer between L1/L2 and R1/R2 attached to the board, ensuring swift assembly and disassembly. Further updates are forthcoming! Note: Refer to my GamePi Advance Touch files for significant progress made; additional work remains. This creation was designed using Tinkercad.
