Shotgun Shell Power Bank Case
thingiverse
I spotted something amazing in Cabela's and thought, "Why not 3D print a new shotgun shell case for my power bank that cost me just $10?" This design idea was born out of that moment. Right now, I'm working on an upgraded version featuring a screw-on bottom piece instead of the cap that snaps into place. I highly suggest printing with ABS because the charger may get hot enough to warp PLA. If you have red and gold filament, this would be a fantastic opportunity to swap filaments halfway through the print. Additionally, using low refinement settings will produce lines along the shell, giving it a more realistic texture instead of a smooth finish. Since I don't have the right colors for a shotgun shell, I simply painted a camo design on it with spray paint - nothing too fancy, just a bit cheesy!
