This adapter fits snugly into Panasonic flash shoes, but can be a bit loose in Canon ones. The 1/4-20 thread for the tripod requires some force when screwing it on initially, so handle it with care to avoid cross-threading issues.The "heavy" version is longer and tighter, necessitating a 1/4-20 nut to secure it to a tripod head. Note that this version has had the flash mount removed.Both adapters should be printed in the specified orientation to ensure proper fit.This adapter does not provide shock absorption (although printing it from flex filament might achieve some level of sound dampening, but may compromise the microphone's grip). The camera's lens and other sounds will still be picked up by the microphone.
