I designed this custom adapter for my NTG-2 shotgun microphone specifically to minimize handling noise that can travel through the included mount. It should work seamlessly with any shotgun mic that fits within the holder circles and isn't too heavy. To attach it to a tripod, use a 1/4 inch nut (secured in place with super glue) and rubber bands to hold the mic firmly in position. A complete set requires one base and two rings. I personally use solvent weld for assembly, but you may also be able to use regular glue as an alternative.
