A friend of mine dumped his duck boat one year in the middle of nowhere in freezing weather, but was able to start a fire on shore to save his life. Think I'll give him one of these. The shotgun magazine limiter that came with my shotgun for duck hunting is just a 3 inch piece of plastic that I thought I'd replace with a tube that I could put some safety matches and some magnesium shavings in. It gets installed in the magazine tube where you have to take the gun apart to get at it if you have one. Depending on your shotgun, yours may need to be longer or shorter. I think the Remington 870 is the most common shotgun in America, let me know how long your limiter is, and I'll add that one as well as any others you may have.
