Shotgun Bike Seat Down Tube Protector

If you have a Shotgun bike seat from kidsrideshotgun.com (and maybe a knockoff as well), this will keep your down tube from getting scratched by the threaded foot peg bolt. This is designed to fold open enough to be installed after the seat is already on your bike. But if it's cold outside, you may just have to slide it on one end before your foot peg goes on. If the end is stuck together at the base, just cut it with a knife or scissors. The model is 40mm long. Measure the distance between the two inner foot peg nuts on your bike and scale it (in the Z axis only!!!) accordingly. Better to make it a little short than a little too long as this will keep your Shotgun seat from clamping on your down tube.
