Shorty Kywi/Molle To Safariland E.L.S. Mounting Plate

#Introduction: I really like Esstac Kywi Pouches and wanted to use them with my Safariland E.L.S. Belt. I could have just gotten the belt clips but I wanted to utilized the E.L.S. Mounting system for quick changes with out taking the belt apart. #Hardware Required: The mounting hardware that I purchase was enough to mount at least five Kywi Pouches. I bought this hardware from Rona for $12 CAD. this includes 8-32 4 Prong Tee Nuts Number 8 size Washers 8-32 x 1/2 Machine Screws (I got 3/8inch instead but I would recommend 1/2 for more grip) #Installation: I have assumed that you have printed out the part and have bought the hardware. I have included picture to go with the instructions if you are a more visual person labeled #1-5. The fit is tight but once you get it in the first time, it is easy to reinstall/remove 1. Press tee nuts into mounting spaces on the back of the print. (Two is recommended either vertical or horizonal but you can use three if you want extra support.) 2. Place the printed part under the first row of Molle. 3. Insure the central legs go over the top of the first row of molle. 4. Insert the central legs under the the second row of molle 5. Bend one leg at a time into the center of the pouch and tuck the last row of molle under the hooked foot. #Conclusion: I have redesigned the mounting plate to make it stronger and easier to install. I have tried the updated model at an IPSC even with no problems but I would still print off a few just incase of a breakage. I would love the feed back if you have any ways in which to improve the design. It should work for all pouches (I have only tried it with the pistol gap and shorty 556 Models) but I can extend the model for larger pouch if there is a request for it. Enjoy and happy shooting Pete
