Human: Remix of patprint's remix of uwe999's remix of rawlogic's MOSFET mount shortened to 6mm in the Z dimension from 8mm. I remixed it because 8mm is taller than the stock standoffs on the maker select v2.1 control box, which are only 6.8mm, 7mm at their closest and 7.34mm at their farthest points. An 8mm part would cause the control board to rise up onto the printed bracket, resulting in a tighter fit for the SD card slot and USB card slot. I speculate that this was the original intention of the designers, who wanted the bracket held firmly under tension against the control board without any wiggle room. This would have been technically functional, but as someone who is meticulous about such details, I made my own 6mm version so the control board rests at its original level and height. This allows for unimpeded access to the mini USB port and MicroSD card slot. I created this design by chopping off the top 2mm in TinkerCAD. The friction fit on the standoffs holds it securely in place, with less than 1mm of wiggle room, considering that the control board only moves occasionally and doesn't vibrate or oscillate. The dimensions of my remix are 7.05 cm by 10.92cm, with a height of 0.6 cm. I printed this design using 0.2mm layer height in Cura 3.2, with adaptive layers up to 0.3 and 50% infill for added strength. I also used three shells for extra durability. To test the quality of my print, I ran a trial with Cura's "Ironing feature," which yielded a smooth surface finish.
