Shorter RSA SecurID Token Stand

Shorter RSA SecurID Token Stand

This is a remix of Gizmoticist's excellent RSA SecurID Stand.http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:343057\nMy company demands that we use SecurID tokens to log into their services, requiring a lot of data entry for authentication and forcing us to log in within 30 seconds. Office lighting necessitates holding the SecurID token up in the air at an angle to see the display, making it difficult to type one-handed while under pressure from the clock.\nI wanted a stand that would allow me to place the token down on my desk at an angle, still see the display and use both hands to log in. The only modification I made to the original Thing was to cut off the bottom half to make it shorter and save material. I also created a variant with some of the top chopped off (the half-back model), but have not printed it and do not know if it will hold your SecurID token securely, so try it at your own risk - the fullback works perfectly.\nI have an RSA SID700 model SecurID token that fits this stand, and believe a SID800 would also fit, although I haven't tried it.
