Shorter Ender 5 Upper Leadscrew Bracket to Increase Bed Spring Tension
thingiverse
**Modified** Upper leadscrew bracket for the Ender 5/Ender 5 Pro that doesn't sit as low as the original allowing for the bed to be raised ~0.5cm higher. I have a BLTouch installed and have removed the original z-stop screw (the one that triggers the z-stop switch) but found that I had to have my bed levelling nuts as loose as possible (bed as high as possible) in order to get the nozzle close enough to the bed. This meant there was very little tension from the springs to keep the bed in place. The original design was preventing the bed from raising the last ~0.5cm by bumping into the metal plate that holds up the bed. As the leadscrew turns you'll notice a slight wobble, I designed this part to keep the leadscrew centered and it has the surprising effect of keeping the bed elevated when the stepper is disabled. The hole for the leadscrew is slightly undersized, you'll need to drill/file it slightly to get the desired fit. Uses two M4x8 screws with washers (I think some should be extra with the printer) and M4 v-slot nuts.
