This design requires one 1/4" -20 1" hex head bolt, made of stainless steel. A 3/4" long bolt could also work. Optional: One M3x12mm Allen key bolt One M3 nut You can attach this to the wall using screws or double-sided tape. Printing takes about one hour. I used two outlines, 10% infill, five tops and bottoms, and a 0.2mm layer height. I created these for my friend, who likes the ball and socket design but wanted to mount his sensors to the ceiling without printing too much plastic. I redesigned the socket from scratch, following the original design closely. I used the same ball, continuing the hole all the way through, as there was a layer on the inside end of the hole. I also reduced the depth of the cutout for the hex head to fit a 1" bolt, which is all that was available. *Edit* I have added an untested knob at cooasty's request. It will require about a 25mm M3 bolt, and it has been sized so you can try screwing the bolt into the knob, but you may need to glue it in place.
