This remix of the original spool wheel is remarkably straightforward and uncomplicated, drawing inspiration from "Spool holder vertical for 2020 frame printers" (thing:2008079). I was particularly drawn to the simplicity of the authentic spool wheel, boasting no bearings or threads - just a plain spool wheel with an 8mm hole at its center to seamlessly fit onto an 8mm threaded rod. This updated version merely truncates the height of the spool wheel from 40mm to 30mm, allowing for the use of two standard 1kg spools in close proximity without any interference when tightened.
