Short shifter adapter for Saab 9-5

A 3D printable short shifter adapter for a Saab 9-5, inspired by GenuineSaab design, but reusing most of the original components. This design requires to drill new holes in the shift rod to relocate the ball joint 20mm up the shaft. This changes the lever ratio from 3.6 to 2.4, roughly reducing the throw by 1/3rd from original. The printed parts are then needed to raise the fulcrum point, so the bottom of the rod remains in the same height. Overall height of the shifter remains unchanged from original. I've designed this based on observations on my own car and the parts should work with any other. However I cannot guarantee perfect compatibility, especially if your 9-5 has excessive play in the linkage. This part will not fix that, as that comes from the gear linkage further towards the gearbox and should be the first thing to be rebuilt if you want a better feeling shifter. New holes need to be drilled for the 4mm retaining pins to move the ball joint 20mm upwards. The M6 screws hook into the same positions as GenuineSaab ones. Use the 9-5cuttemplate.stl placed in the casing with it's locating tabs aligned as a template for enlarging the square opening. Even a hand file can be used as the material is very soft an easy to remove. Use some PTFE or other plastic-safe lube on the ball joint during assembly. The reverse gear key lock-in mechanism can be retained.
