I needed a short pool cue and could bring myself to spend nearly $100. I also wanted to create a bit of a conversation PC. After looking at making one from some maple I had in the shop I came across a 3' PC of dowel and decided I would attempt to print one. I chose to add a PC of 12mm rebar in the handle for weight, I used 20" and then made up the rest with the 10mm dowel rod. I decided on a 44" (111.76 cm) long cue. I made 5 smaller lengths and screwed them together. I used a Cyanoacrylate glue to secure the rebar and dowel in place and secure the joints. The cue does the job but I think next time I might add more design elements, a tighter knurl and much shorter threads. I also modified this bumper to fit on the butt of the cue. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1740438 Thankyou for the design "ChiefBurningRubber" https://www.thingiverse.com/ChiefBurningRubber If you are going to print this version I would scale down the threads slightly for easier assembly and shorten them to 10-15 mm so you don't have to wrestle with it too much. Overall happy with the result and will try some modifications to the design and repost. Good Luck.
