I was attempting to implement a Dual Extruder setup on my Spider 3D printer, but I wanted to do it in a way that mimicked the CR-10's design where the extruder mount is attached directly to the X gantry. Komo created an impressive mod for a single extruder based on Banholm's ingenious X Motor Mount Design, but I needed something more - a setup that would accommodate two extruders simultaneously. This revised version effectively addresses two key challenges I encountered: 1. The standard plate was too lengthy to allow for the Z Axis coupler to be mounted properly; fortunately, I stumbled upon Teikjoon's clever solution. 2. Taking inspiration from the shortened plate, I further modified it to create a custom motor mount that enables dual Extruder operation on my Spider, securely positioned on the X gantry.
