Short-end feed Ultimaker Original upgrade
thingiverse
I've had an old 3D printer that's produced by DFRobot Dreammaker, which actually came from a top-of-the-line Ultimaker Original 3D printer. It originally used a far-end feeder and didn't have a hot bed, but in order to print with flexible materials, I swapped out the short feed system for a more reliable one. I made sure to use the original extrusion head, stepper motor, and fan. To give it an extra boost, I lengthened the built-in Teflon tube. The mounting seat was too close to the print head, so I used a 3mm board to create some space between them.
