I'm working on creating a custom bicycle stem that actually exists in reality. It's crafted from a robust 50 x 50 mm aluminum alloy square stock, which can be precision-machined using a lathe with a 4 jaw chuck and a milling machine. This design is slightly oversized due to the constraints of available machining tools and material limitations. My primary driver for creating this stem was the fact that I couldn't find any affordable products with compatible hole sizes for my bike, and I had access to the necessary tools and materials. This custom stem is designed specifically for a 1 1/8" head tube and a 25.5 mm handlebar, but it can be easily resized to suit your unique needs.
