Short bike stem (easy to make)

This is my inaugural creation of a custom bicycle stem that surpasses commercial alternatives in quality and affordability. Built from a sturdy 40 x 40 mm aluminum alloy square stock, this innovative design can be crafted using standard machinery such as a lathe with faceplate attachment and a milling machine. The driving force behind creating this bespoke stem was the lack of reasonably priced options with compatible hole sizes for my bike, combined with the availability of necessary tools and materials. Once completed, the final product will be uploaded for all to see. Designed specifically for a 1 1/8" head tube and a 25.5 mm handlebar, this custom stem is poised to revolutionize bicycle design.
