Short belt tensioner
thingiverse
I designed this compact tensioner for my DIY printer. Standard tensioners from the internet are too long for my enclosure where the printer is housed - I only had 28 mm of space available for the tensioner. This one is incredibly short and easy to adjust. The tensioner utilizes two bearings with an outside diameter of 16mm. A hex M5x25 screw is used as the axle, accompanied by two additional washers. The tensioner was printed using ABS without any supports (bridges activation in the slicer is necessary). A layer height of 0.15 was employed during printing. When assembling, the arrow on the side of the block points towards the printer.
