Short 3/8in Metric Socket Tray
thingiverse
A compact 3/8" Metric Socket Tray for short sockets is a must-have in every toolbox. The range it covers may be a bit fragmented, but it caters to my key socket sizes perfectly. Socket holes are strategically placed for the following sizes: 11, 12, 13, 16, and 17mm. To add an extra layer of visual appeal to the print result, I swap filament colors near the end. This way, the raised text is printed in a contrasting color, making it stand out even more clearly. The filament color swap is easily set up in your slicer software. Even beginners will find it effortless to configure in PrusaSlicer or other slicers. My print was made using PETG 1.75mm filaments from 3DFillies, with a black and red color combination. A layer height of 0.2mm on my PRUSA I3 MK3S printer produced a crisp and clean result. I hope you find this print useful for your own projects as well.
