Shoreline Marine Kayak Stern Light adapter for 3/4" PVC EMT

I designed this adapter to mount my Shoreline Marine Kayak LED Stern Navigation Light with Strobe, model # SL92001 on a length of 3/4" PVC EMT pipe. I secured the light in the top of the pipe with a stainless self-tapping machine screw from the junk box. You can use a drill guide to align the screw hole with that of the adapter. The Shoreline Navigation Light has a base that fits inside a 3/4" aluminum pipe, but I changed to EMT pipe after an issue with the railblaza adapter. You'll need to remove the base from the bottom cap on the light; it's secured with a 1/4 allen head bolt that you won't reuse, but you can use the washer from inside the cap. You'll also need a 2" x 1/4 allen head bolt or a hexhead with a slot cut for a flat blade screwdriver and a 1/4" nut. I added a piece of pool noodle to lift the light end out of the water in case it comes off the kayak, and for more daytime visibility on the water.
