Shore Trooper Helmet V2 (Sean Fields) Split to fit 200x200 build plate
thingiverse
This is the V2 version of SeanKFields Shore Trooper helmet. All credit for this model goes to him; I merely chopped the files to fit my bed. The original files (including the armor) can be downloaded directly from http://shoretrooper.co.uk, where you'll find everything you need. In the end, I only had to chop six files. I have left the original sized pieces intact and added A and B options that are the bits I needed to split. The face will fit on the bed just fine, but I found it easier to print these split up and then glue them back together. That's what worked for me at least! I did put a registration tab on the rear rim, but after printing a few of my chopped bits, it wasn't necessary, so I left the rest alone. Update 28/3/19: I started printing another for an AT ACT driver helmet and wanted to print the front cap in one piece. It saves some gluing, filling, and sanding, which is always a good thing! So, I combined it into one file - 0608_-_combined_cap_front.stl.
