Portable SUP or Surfboard stand for beach or home use, capable of holding 2 boards and 2 paddles at once. Designed to be built with 1/4" aluminum, but can also be constructed from plywood or similar materials by adjusting slot widths according to your chosen material. Three assemblies can be cut from a single 4'x8' sheet of metal, wood, or plastic sheeting. I had mine precision-cut from aluminum using a water jet cutting technique. Additional padding is essential; I used weather stripping from McMaster's catalog, part number 1120A592, specifically designed for 1/4" thick material. If thicker materials are used, alternative padding solutions will be necessary. The CAD files provided include Parasolid, IGES, and STEP models for solid rendering, as well as DXF designs for printing the pattern pieces. Units are specified in inches throughout.
