This modification will enable a Shopvac hose with an approximate diameter of 35 millimeters to be inserted into a Bandsaw equipped with a large 60mm connector. My own Bandsaw features an outer diameter of roughly 61 millimeters and an inner diameter of approximately 57 millimeters. The hole intended for the Shopvac hose becomes slightly narrower in depth, making it suitable for a variety of shopvacs.
