Shopping Bag Trash Frame

Shopping Bag Trash Frame

thingiverse

This school project repurposes plastic shopping bags into trash bags by creating a frame with 3D-printed hinges and laser-cut frames. The design features two magnets for easy assembly and disassembly. Inspired by the messy experience of disposing trash in a car, this innovation can be simply installed in vehicles using string wrapped around a frame and secured to the dashboard. Printable clips, which take approximately an hour each to print, are included with the hinges to assemble the frames. To construct the trash bag holder, place the frames with holes on the outside and those with rasters facing outwards on the inside, attach the clips and magnets to the respective rasters, then secure it all together using bolts, washers, and a dab of superglue.
