Shopping Bag Garbage Bin
thingiverse
I reuse old shopping bags as trash cans, so I created this design to hang them on doors and other surfaces. The top edge is angled and tailored to fit snugly into 3m command adhesive hooks. Check out the photos to see how to insert the bag, but it's pretty straightforward. Depending on your shopping bag's size, you might need to adjust its height in the z-direction. To make this: 1. Print both left and right STLs. 2. Insert 1.75mm filament into the holes in one side of the print. 3. Secure the filament with glue. 4. Join the two sides together using the filament as a connector. 5. Apply additional glue for extra hold. 6. Hang your bag on a wall using a hook from the top. One image shows mine hanging from a single hook, but it's recommended to use two hooks for stability and to keep the bag straight. The pictures show an earlier version without a support strut, so this design is reinforced to handle heavier loads.
