The new design is split into two parts because my printer lacks an enclosed chamber and cannot handle printing large ABS components that tend to curl. To overcome this limitation, I chose PLA for the base component, which slides more smoothly and is easier to post-process. The top part was then attached to the PLA foundation using epoxy.
