Shop Vac Hose End Fitting / Cyclone Filter Connector

Replacement ShopVac hose end fitting for 2 inch nominal sized corrugated plastic hose. One fitting end has a single barb that fits into the cut end of the hose. The fitting is sized for a hose with a minimum actual ID size of 2 inches. I have a number of things in my garage that have a ~2inch vacuum connection on them - different brands/clones of the ShopVac, as made by Craftsman, Rigid, etc. Also bead and sand blast cabinets. All have slightly different actual dimensions even though they all say they are "2 inch" connections. I had stepped on and broken many of the fittings on the ends of my hoses, and wanted a replacement that fit ANY 2 inch connection - not just a particular brand. Through trial and error I ended up with one fitting with a OD taper that fits into any of my equipment. Bonus points: I have two of the Chinese cyclone prefilters for my blast cabinets and they have odd size male ends that are impossible to find connections for. I put an ID taper on the hose end that fits the OD of the cyclone filters.
