I designed a replacement hangup bracket for my Shop Vac, specifically the Hangup 2.5 gal. model, after losing mine and not wanting to spend $20 on a new one. I used Fusion 360 to create it, performing basic stress analysis to ensure its integrity. This bracket might also fit newer hanging vacs of similar size, provided they have a recessed pocket on the side of their lower container.
