A simple yet effective hanging bracket for the Shop Vac (registered) Hangup 2.5 gal., created with ingenuity and thriftiness in mind. After losing my original bracket, I refused to shell out $20 for a replacement, opting instead to design a new one using Fusion 360's powerful tools. Basic stress analysis was conducted to ensure the bracket's durability and strength. This design may also work for newer hanging vacs of similar size, provided they have a recessed pocket on the side of their lower container.
