I Have a Huge Rigid Shop Vac Which Sucks Up Small Children and Scares the Nuns. I've got an enormous Rigid shop vacuum that's capable of sucking up tiny kids and frightening nuns. I also have a Dust Deputy dust collector on a 5-gallon bucket, and if the hose gets clogged, the bucket would collapse due to the suction. Additionally, it's extremely frustrating to have to open the dust collector just to retrieve my painter's cones when they accidentally get sucked up. With this adjustable nozzle, I can set the suction to a gentle flow that I use to vacuum around the plastic sheet-covered area where I'm applying stain and polyacrylic to wood projects. This way, I can easily vacuum over the plastic sheeting without sucking it up or collapsing my dust collector bucket. I also utilize this diffuser for my shop vac exhaust port to prevent stirring up too much dust.
