Shop Vac Adapter

Part of a larger project. I have a broken Dyson full-sized vacuum cleaner and am converting the cyclone part to fit onto my old Electrolux shopvac for my woodworking tools, mainly table saws and routers mounted on a Triton 2000 worktable. This piece is designed so that I can screw in the Electrolux pipe (40mm outer diameter and +/-5mm pitch) onto the extraction port of the top part I removed from the Dyson. However, anywhere you want a bulkhead-mounted screw-in fitting for a compatible vacuum pipe, this will work perfectly. Will update as the project progresses: UPDATE 16 Oct Added two parts. 1) Bulkhead-mounted adapter from full-sized Dyson tube clip-on connector to press-fit female adapter. This allows the cyclonic filter to be connected via the existing Dyson pipe to a bulkhead mounted on the table. 2) Press-fit male to Electrolux pipe adapter This screws onto an Electrolux vac pipe. One short section like this is required (and permanently mounted on) each tool, e.g., skill saw, router or whatever. This fitting is simply pressed into the above bulkhead fitting when you change out a tool.
