I've been using my shop vac to eliminate hornets infesting my home. To connect the 2.25-inch hose (mounted on a Craftsman shop vac) to a 2-inch Schedule 40 PCV pipe elbow, I required an adapter. After completing this connection, I needed a plug for the shop vac to prevent hornets from escaping. The plug may be slightly undersized; consider scaling it up by 2-3% for a tighter fit.
