I do not know how useful this adapter is these days, since after the bankruptcy of the Shop-Vac Corp. in 2020 and its subsequent acquisition by Guangdong Shopvac Electrical Appliances company, the vacuum tool inventory was reduced. They no longer sell metal wands with locking ends, such as Shop-Vac 9199000 that you see in the pictures.
