I keep simple shop magnets on hand for holding plans to machines, stuff against the side of the fridge, and other miscellaneous items. They're incredibly useful tools that I use frequently throughout my workshop. To assemble one, I apply a small drop of super-glue to a 0.5" x 0.125" rare-earth magnet before pressing it firmly in place.
