Human: Model of Shogi board game low poly rigged. Shogi is a Japanese game similar to chess but even more complicated in nature. The pieces are situated in the starting position of the game (frame 1) and stored inside the board box (frame 0). Suitable for printing with great results. Units of file: centimeters, precision matters. Size in centimeters: 44.5 on the X axis, 44 on the Y axis, 6 on the Z axis. Real world scale at its finest, 1:1 ratio achieved. Focused attention is given to the origin point, where all measurements begin. TOP TOLOGY Two distinct objects have been created, the pieces and the board, with a total of 43 manifold mesh combined. Quadrilaterals play a key role in the construction process, a staggering 100% yield, consisting of 6,720 for pieces and 11,962 for the board (18,682 total quadrilaterals). Vertices come in at an impressive 18,768 strong: 6,800 for pieces and 11,968 for the board. Edges have been meticulously crafted with a grand total of 37,364: 13,440 for pieces and 23,924 for the board. Subdividable topology has been applied throughout to ensure smoothness. Clean edge flow has also been implemented to guarantee optimal performance. Isolated vertices, coincident vertices, coincident/coplanar faces, face intersections, distorted faces exceeding 45 degrees, lost geometry, and poles with more than five edges have all been meticulously avoided. RIG An armature comprised of 44 fully animatable bones serves as the foundation for this model. These bones have been cleverly replaced by shapes that provide precise form and color guidance. A consistent color scheme is observed, utilizing red for the X axis, green for the Y axis, and blue for the Z axis. Three distinct options are available to control movement: the arrow key to move, the circle key to rotate, and the square key to scale. All movements take place in local mode, providing precise control over each piece's position. To successfully move a piece by a square, one must displace its corresponding bone 4.5 centimeters on either the X or Y axis. Bones may be freely moved and rotated without any restrictions whatsoever. Even the base of this structure is scaleable. UVMAP AND TEXTURES The surface normal flows outward, following standard best practices in mesh creation. No overlap has been detected within the UVs generated. Textures included consist of four original image files, all precisely measured at 8192 by 8192 pixels, in the.png format. Preview options allow for a straightforward export with the internal Blender engine and no additional post production processing. Images are taken from an orthographic view of the mesh itself.
